This site offers a 360 degree view of the greater Los Angeles area. A missile watch tower during the Cold War era, the Nike Site now provides visitors with a tower to look out over the local Santa Monica Mountain ridges. The San Fernando Valley Basin and adjacent Santa Susana Mountains are to the north and sweeping views to the south include the Santa Monica Bay through downtown Los Angeles. There are exceptional views as the sun falls below the horizon and the city lights begin to glow.
