Educational and Interpretative Programs

Outdoor enthusiasts and park visitors regularly enjoy the many activities offered by the Conservancy, including hiking, picnicking, biking, and equestrian opportunities. The Conservancy focuses much of its educational and interpretative programs on serving youth who traditionally have little or no experience with nature or the outdoors. Environmental education programs are operated at many locations each offering unique educational opportunities and exhibits for school groups and the general public.

Augustus F. Hawkins Natural Park, the Center offers nature related programs to inner-city youth.
Starting point for community trips to local mountains.
